This dog is located and fostered in Crossville, Tennessee. FREE ADOPTION TO APPROVED HOME!! Weighing about 60 pounds, Drambuie, a beautiful 3-year-old, likely-boxer mix (suggested by his sleek body and noticeable underbite), has a rich mahogany brindle coat with white chest, neck, feet and tail tip. Abandoned by his original family and cared for by neighbors, he came to A.A.R.F. as an underweight, hesitant youngster. Now "Buie" lives in an indoor/outdoor rescue kennel in Crossville (TN). He gets along great with visitors of all ages, has very high energy, needs lots of exercise, and plays HARD with some dogs (may not be friendly with others). We would suggest he be the only family pet (no other dogs or cats). He loves to splash in his wading pool (check out his video), runs full steam ahead for the pure joy of running (fenced yard required), and delights in games of fetch and tug-of-war. He has been fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on preventives for fleas, ticks, heart worms and other internal parasites. Great in a car (no whining or pacing), he is crate trained and quite possibly self-house trained. Eager to please and food-motivated, Buie is leash trained and heels, sits, downs, shakes hands, spins, sits up to beg, and does high fives on command. With proper training, he would be great at agility or obedience competition. Hes looking for a family to love, train and play with him.
